How to book dog grooming: online or by phone

Bellobi is an AI personal assistant that calls businesses on your behalf. You can ask it to call a groomer and request an appointment for your dog. Give it the service and time you want, then check the call report for the reply.

Choose a routine grooming service

Decide whether you want a bath, brush, haircut or another grooming service. Use the groomer's own service name where possible. You can also book directly online if the right service and time are available.

Set up your grooming request

Fictional example: Sam Rivera wants a bath, brush and haircut for Milo at Willow Grooming Studio, a stand-alone grooming-only business in Philadelphia, on 12 November 2026 at 9 a.m.

On New Task, choose Browse Task Templates → Pet Grooming Appointment. Fill its four fields and use the short description below.

Call the pet groomer to schedule a grooming appointment. Do not accept other times, add services, or authorize charges.

The Date and Time field is the requested appointment time. Choose when the phone call starts separately on New Call. The example allows no other times, extra services or charges.

Let Bellobi make the call

  1. Choose Create to save the task. On New Call, select Pet Grooming Appointment and check the details.
  2. Enter the grooming-only business's verified US number in Phone Number. Bellobi uses your account name and contact phone; keep them accurate.
  3. Read Terms Confirmation. When the call is permitted and within reasonable local hours, choose Start Call. You can also choose Schedule for later.

Review the call's result

After the call, open Call Dashboard → Completed Calls → View Report. Read Call Summary and check:

  • The grooming service and whether the business accepted the request.
  • The date, drop-off time and any pickup arrangements.
  • Any documents, direct contact or payment still needed to complete the booking.

If you need more detail, read the conversation or listen under Recording, when available. A tentative time does not mean the booking is complete. Confirm unfinished requirements directly with the groomer.

Before you call

Choose a grooming-only business, not a vet, clinic or hospital. Do not use this for treatment, sedation or health advice. Handle health questions, documents and payment directly; keep detailed health records, passwords and payment details out of tasks.
